  • new member & virgin surf owner!!

    Hi folks,
    got pointed in this forums direction after was convinced to buy one o these surfs.....wondered what all the fuss was about did bit o digging and with help from my surf owning pal I found one done near Bolton.
    train down from Montrose Angus / NE Scotland and home no probs

    I bought a gen3 3.0TD which is very clean and im loving it


    look forward to the forum

    ps... my brother lives over the cairn o mount & ive spotted a surf outside Finzean village......anybody's here? :-)

          Fair few Surfs around in Aberdeenshire, mine is often in Banchory. Green Gen 3, usually needing a wash.

            One quick query

            Does anyone know of anybody local ish to Montrose Angus area of Scotland who works on these ?
            Everything working etc apart from 4wd system
            Need someone in the know to help / work on it
            My limit is brake pads & filters :-(

              Not really, when I have taken mine to a garage none of them really seem to know anything about the trucks, the only garage I know of that has ability to plug it in as Toyota would is Clark Motorsport in Kintore. Struan Toyota in Dundee have always been very helpful when looking for parts but for them to do any work would probably be rather pricey.

              Can't help you with the 4wd system I'm afraid, mine needs looked at and I've been putting it off.
