Last day of road tax in my surf today before it gets parked up for a while..... could be a long while as well while I collect parts. Managed to do >30miles to work and home again with the fuel light on the whole way, must be absolutely nothing left in the tank now! The needle doesn't move off the ignition off point now! 
First job on it'll be a clean out and I'm pinchin its tyres for the daily driver. I'll have to lay it up then as I've the engine clutch as well as a heap more to sort on the tractor. Once thats done and I've collected the parts I'm planning to remove the Surf's engine and do a full rebuild. I'm really intrested to see how its worn through all the heavy use its had and to find out what all those noises were!
Going to miss it for driving though, had some fun giving it a last blast and then tootling home on the dreggs of fuel left!
