Since the forum is quite quiet at the moment, I 'd like to say something that may be quite contentious. I'm already fed up to the back teeth with news reports about some complete stranger, who is apparently about to have a baby. Why should the majority of us give a flying F**k. As a card carrying republican, if it was up to me, I'd have the state disband the monarchy, seize all their assets, and maybe give the six, or so , most popular ones modestly paid jobs working for the National Trust. " Vive La Republique ! ".....That is all.... ( For now ).

I have been out here for the last three weeks or so soaking up the intense heat and crushing humidity plus 40'c and 70-80% humidity.
I have combined a trip to family and sightseeing with a property search.
I need to see if moving out here is going to be a viable proposition.
Plenty to consider, hence the extended visit.
Btw I think I may actually get bored of seeing 4runners.
They LOVE their 4x4's and SUV'
Plenty of Navigators tooEat.Sleep.Surf.Repeat.

In order to suffer a little less of the excessive...Blah blah blah, Royal baby, Blah blah blah, David Cameron, bull5hit, I find myself avoiding the UK news media, and opting to watch France 24. It's really quite a good news channel.

One of the many positives is the price of a gallon of petrol at about £2.50.
The 5.7 hemi Dodge Durango I had for the first week was a tad thirsty but such fun
But now I have downgraded to a 3.7 Jeep.
Coming back to olde England at the end of the week/money.
