Mobile phone upgrade

I have a Sony Xperia, happy with it and as soon as the contract is up I'll keep it and go on giff gaff.

Did the same with my HTC Desire HD, now paying £5 a month, bargain.

I'm on GiffGaff and have a cheapo Chinese Android phone, made by the highly prestigious ZTE.

It does everything my old HTC did except run out of battery every five hours.

I looked at the Xperia(SP) and the iPhone 5. Took the iPhone. It's not the best at anything but it is the 2nd best at everything.

There's a Firefox OS for Androids.

Everyone keeps telling me to get the iPhone 4S not the 5 cos of problems but I am liking android it's never caused a problem. I wish Sony would release a phone that's better than the one I have.

I've got the Sony Xperia arc at the mo. I like the phone but It has hardly any phone memory and the main apps like office you can't move to an sd card. I do agree with you the Xperia phones are good but I've had the arc for over 2 yrs and they seem to have not moved on.

Upgraded to the iPhone 5 in the end. The kids swayed it with this FaceTime thing as they have iPods.

I think if you are regularly facetiming then you'd best go apple. I think their hardware is great but I can't get around their interface. I like the Android interface best. So I had a HTC One X but then the camera wasn't great.

Got the Nokia Lumia 920, and the camera on that is much better imho. Took it to Ibiza with us last week and never needed the "Proper" camera. The WP8 interface is pretty simple too. No complaints at all.
