Android is jolly good value, I've used mostly HTC's for the last 10 years...though I have tried an iPhone for 18 months (3GS) and it was excellent. Also tried Windows Mobile, that was horrid.Originally posted by BUSHWHACKER View PostAlways Samsung, better value.
I have a Galaxy Ace, can't fault it.
Apple and Samsung copy each other.
I guess it depends on the individual as to what is best for them...I don't think I'll be leaving Android phones unless it's for an Ubuntu Phone (should it get as far as actually being made lol).

Lithium batteries can get hot when worked or charged hard...I think the 3GS used to catch fire when used as a SAT NAV on a sunny day...
You don't fancy an S4?Last edited by andyverran; 18 July 2013, 13:44.

I wouldn't worry about it, aside from not charging your phone when your not with it you should be fine. I've seen all kinds of battery go bang over the years (used to work in the battery industry), it's a chemical reaction, bound to have the odd one go wrong....given the millions of units that get made really very safe.Originally posted by marcdtr View PostJesus!!!! Both myself and Mrs MWS have had Galaxy Aces for a while, now. No problems. Samsung being our phone of choice for years. Until recently my daughter has had a Blackberry, which she hated with a passion. She has recently changed to an S4, which she now firmly believes to be " Rovers Gonads ".

Yeah, Blackberry, total and utter rubbish aren't they....and in some financial grief too, I'm expecting them to go the way Nokia nearly went...falling sales then out of businessOriginally posted by MWS View PostBoth myself and Mrs MWS have had Galaxy Aces for a while, now.
