Well you are quite close to a lesbian pub where you are now. I would avoid Kingsmere, Shinewater, Hydneye, Willingdon trees. Nice is Meads, Willingdon, lots of old town.
Some of Hailsham is nice.

My sister in law just bought a terraced 2 bed in old town.
It was in excess of £200k. A house in a village will be expensive. Try looking around Pevensey, westham and Jevington.
