I hope you are all well?

After looking at my terrible wheels everyday since I bought my 3rd Gen
I bought another set of wheels to use while I refurbished my original ones.
I did the spare first, in silver, but it looked a bit dull to me and didnt have any shine to it, so I sprayed the other 4 wheels WHITE ....

I like the look of my surf now, it stands out a bit!

Anyone know of any hairdressing jobs going?

You get a gold star for looks from me for not having an A bar.
The wheels could grow on me. I will have a white set shortly but they will sit below a dramatically different paint job.

Hello Darren, I hope you and your family are well?

I didnt want to go mad with the mods on this 3rd Gen, on my 2nd Gen I had all the bull bars, A bars, spot lights and fancy deep-dish alloy wheels put on, but I didnt like having the really bad pitted and lacquer peeled wheels this car came with.
It took me a couple of weeks to sand them down, apply 3 coats of high-build white primer, 3 coats of high-gloss white paint and 3 coats of lacquer.
It was harder than I thought it would be, but well worth it!

I have cleaned up and polished the wheels that I put on my truck while I refurbished my original ones. They are in good condition and 10 times better than mine were, so I have put them on egay!

The family and I are great thanks, hope you're ok. The truck does look nice but I wonder how long it will be before it's lifted slightly and got muds on, I bet your work colleagues are waiting for it after the 2nd gen with the bars etc. ooo ooo and roof lights and a whip aerial and a snorkel and a winch........................
