  • pirlo's perfect goal

Am I the only one that feels it was less than perfect given that the ball was 2feet inside the post and the keeper's right arm seemed to get stuck to the side of his body at the last minute?

You won't get many replies as most on here don't like football. Forklift racing on ITV4 will get them going, though.

Anyway, yes, it was quite long way in and I don't know what the keeper was doing - maybe trying to head it? I don't think it's being touted as really being 'perfect', I presumed that was just a way of saying 'quite good'.

I think the lawn mower grand prix is on later...

What are these goals we speak of? Does it involve exercise...
        Non intercooled nothing.

a goal is to win the fork lift truck race or the lawnmower race depends which one you enter

Have you seen the angle grinder drag racing? They use 2 saw blades as the rear wheels, it just cries out major injury potential!

What do you mean - that's another 4 highly relevant replies already.

On a similar note, can anyone recommend a microwave oven? Ideally no more than 850W (i.e. matching the ratings given on the tv dinner packaging) and extremely simple, idiot-proof operation?

I know its not exactly what you were after but we've recently had a new conventional oven. It has a varied heat setting so you can warm stuff up or really blast it with heat, botj radiant and fan assisted. Its a bit boring to watch though as the screen is a little small.

How big is the "screen" on the washing machine?

Now you're talking. its not any bigger, but it shows the whole drum so you get that full 360 degree experience. I did a work clothes wash yesterday, which made some funny clunking noises. I've also lost 2 brick samples I was keeping for a customer.
The mrs says the washing machine is not working today. Do washing machines have a different weekend to us then?
Maybe it will be back at work tomorrow otherwise I'll be back watching the oven.
