Ok so you you want to know how reliable a surf is,well my 16 year old 1st gen just SAILEDthrough yet another MOT that makes it 6in a row,and after the abuse she gets (offroad) from me I think she deserves a full sevice and a wash n polish.

Well done and i feel that your tale says something positive about the Surf build quality.
What sort of maintainance schedule do you follow or are you a believer in the " if it aint f****d dont fix it" school of thought?

I must admit that the grease gun and I are very close and all the old girls nipples get done very regular and the oil is changed at least twice a year but apart from that its oil & coolant checks once a week and thats about it.However she dose get and extra good greaseing if (ok when) we go play in the mud.Last edited by sumo; 17 August 2007, 08:22.If the puddles to deep..LEARN TO SCUBA.Comment
