I'd skip the M5; they're rubbish.
Yes, I know the entire world disagrees.

I'm kind of with Slobodan. The list you have is somewhat dull - any particular reason?
Other alternative is to buy my Mercedes for £13k. It's just having a new fuel pump fitted and will then be MOT'd and up for sale. Could do with some TLC on the paintwork and the interior wood refinishing, but she's solid and works.
Here's a picture, I'm not sure I've posted one before....

Mazda 6: Excellent image for reliability but dull look possible re sale problems
Mitsubishi Lancer: Know nothing
Mercedes C, E and SL: All mercs seem too expensive compared to most other makes IMHO quality is no better than others now.
Skoda Octavia VRS: My dad's got a normal one very happy, very popular with owners.
Toyota Avensis: I wouldn't get a D4D so many turbo related MIL light issues that end up costing thousands but I like VVT I've not ever had the oil consumption issue personally
Honda Accord: I like Honda are the parts still expensive?
Audi A4: Even though its alot the same as the Skoda I've heard so many people with mega repais bills, I hate the image of trendy Audi ATM.
My shortlist assuming diesel would be Mazda, Accord and Octavia - but not a VRS for me looks too flash....

If I may be so bold, Skoda vrs drivers seem to try too hard to prove themselves.
The Honda is surprisingly good, but as I live in Swindon would stay away from that.
The Mitsi in my opinion is what you would buy if you couldn't afford the rally version.
I have a thinly veiled hatred for most Audi drivers, again this is my problem.
So it would leave a toss up between the Merc's
For just myself I would go for the SL, however for the next few years at least it would have to be the C class petrol or a diesel E class.
But the SL would always be my first choice.

From your list probably the Honda accord, personally though I'd go for a Jaguar XF.

Thinking about buying another car...
I'm thinking about adding another vehicle to the fleet. At the moment, I'm undecided as to whether it'll be an additional vehicle or a replacement for something.
So far, I've been looking at - Mazda 6, Mitsubishi Lancer, Mercedes C, E and SL, Skoda Octavia VRS, Toyota Avensis, Honda Accord and Audi A4.
I have up to £15k to spend.
I don't need another truck, I already have enough of them.
What would you buy?Tags: None
