  • It's Tornado Season here in Devon

I have been meaning to ask about this since we moved down here. Once a week we get some very low fly pasts by Tornado jets. Sometimes we get what looks like hawks (like the ones the red arrows use but painted up greyish) and some pretty impressively low Hercules transporters as well.
I was wondering if any members that live down in the South West know where these are flying out from/to.
I quite like seeing them although the dogs not too pleased with the noise. I'd like to be able to tell our holiday guests - who seem to be interested in them where they are flying from.

Valley's Hawks are shiny black. Grey ones used to fly from Brawdy back in the day. Not sure where they are these days. Everywhere, I'd imagine!
