I have a 1994 Toyota 4-Runner 3 litre diesel and I need a snorkel for green laning. I've seen some advertised and they are around £300, but someone said that they got one for around £50. Can anyone offer me advice?

Hello George. Welcome to the forum. I doubt weter you'll get a snorkel for £50, but Richard, = Stormforce regularly organises group purchases which bring the price down to £100 or lower.

I am having one made with stainless steel tubing next week. The straight bit of pipe cost £20 and an hours work will probably bring it to about £50 overall.

There are poly ones on eBay for a tad less than £100.

Polyethylene, not fibreglass.

As long as the templates are good (no negative feedback suggests they are) there's no reason to spend £300 on one IMHO.
