confused on power steering fluid level

Hi there guy's..
need some information about the required level for the psf reservoir. there was a markings on the stick with cold and hot. does it need to be on the top or under the cold marking box.

Thank you very much sir bushwhacker for the info....
it was in a halfway of cold mark when i check the psf level before starting the engine...so no need to add more.never done checking while it was hot.
