Explaination - an explanation

I don't know whether I'll be able to explain this properly but when using the word explanation the 'i' from the original word 'explain' is dropped. It is therefore not needed in an explanation but when explaining something to someone it is needed. I hope all of that is fairly self explanatory.

In the meantime...Philip, I'm sure lots will find that useful, but you disgust the world with your spelling error. The fact you posted in order to help others is irrelevant. You made an error involving spelling. This is not acceptable, especially on-line.

You are a horrible person and your efforts to spread some knowledge have rightly been ignored.
