Mazda. Correct. What struck me was the absolute lack of originality of the design. Yes. Toyota took the Hilux pickup and used the front end sheet metal to build an SUV, giving us the Surf / 4Runner. Mazda have applied the same concept with their B series pickup. Look at all the similarities. Elevated positioning of the rear side window. Filler cap location. Rear spoiler. Overall layout, Etc, etc, etc. The only variation in the overall concept that I can see, is the tailgate and rear window set up Even that looks a little agricultural...........Mazda design department......Hang your collective heads in shame!

I see where you're comming from there, Vince. The GWM Safe (sic), uses a geat deal of the 2nd gen bodyshell and panels. They presumably use the stamping equipment from the Tahara (Hino Trucks) plant, under a licencing agreement with Toyota.
