Momentous day

My first 500km out of a tank of fuel. I admit I did fill it right to the top of filler cap and some of my driving may have been verging on the side of hazardous in a bid not to touch the break peddle. There may have also been the odd build up of traffic behind me as I prepared to stop for the red traffic light half mile down the road. None the less 506km between fill ups and the fuel light didn't even flicker. Happy days

600Ks is what I got out of my 2.4 once. Then spent three hours waiting for the RACQ.

My third gen intercooled 3.0 stretches out to 600km with a moderate to heavy foot

But the old 2.8 turbo struggles to make 400km, lifts and 33's do wonders for your fuel economy
