That's good going in my book, up until last year I'd not ridden since 1999.
Didn't realise how much I missed it although I think I'm getting a bit long in the tooth for my ZX6, need something a little easier on the old joints.

DK bikes-just up the road from me in Newcastle. I had a bike from them when they were just a garage at a house in cheadle staffs in 1983.Now they're massive. All the best with it mate, looks a good project.

The v8 would tempt me but not a standard 2nd gen pal as I am keeping the pickup I am building.
I have Alan's old 3.0 up for sale on SMC to make space but it looks like I might have a mk1 escort on the cards. Again used to be ours, Alan got it from our uncle over 20yr ago, restored it and moved it on when he got married. Looks like I might be able to get it back.
