Sorry to admit it, but I've ownded a surf for a couple of months now, and just got round to signing up.
Forgive me?
Hello there
Oddness is a state of mind, or a combination of alcohol or medication and yes probably for some on here alcohol and medication are the same thing, just be glad the grammar police were dozing....
Everyone who joined after 2009 seems to be dyslexic.
Nowt wrong with being lesdyxic..
Hello Mr White Line Fever...
My names John and I now live in a very quiet cul-de-sac...
Read your other thread title and got worried. Glad to hear its only "small" issues...
My new un's worse for reliablility than both of my old surfs put together.
What was up with the starter motor in the end?

Starter was/is fine. Both batteries were fubar. On test, one was zero volts, zero amps, and the other had 10 volts, couple of dead cells and a cold crank of 14 amps instead of 500
That coolant inlet gave up, and one of the rear brakes has let go, so she's off the road now for a couple of weeks while I assemble parts
Yup, the neighbours get to hear a big clanky diesel tractor/taxi now every morning instead, the lucky buggers...
Nice outputs on the batteries! Suppose being a petrol, it doesn't need the cranking power of a diesel, so the issue was masked untill enough cells died...
Glad it's still making you smile!
And yes, I miss that soundtrack!
