Been busy...

making a shotgun for my lad.

Callum always wanted a shotgun like the Call of Duty guys, he owns loads of toy guns but was never happy with the selection of toy shotguns available so I knocked one up for him. I has a bit of weight to it and will hopefully last, unlike the plastic ones.
I'll hollow out the stock a bit to give it a Spec Ops look and paint it camo.

That's what was in my head when I decided to make it. All the plastic guns either break or don't really feel like the real thing. Hope he likes it.

Cool, My dad - back in the eighties - made one out of 2 wooden armchair arms stuck back to back, 2 broom handles, the male part of a roller catch for the sight, and several other bits of junk out the garage. When it was all sprayed up, it looked pretty terrifying!

I hollowed out the stock today to make it lighter and a bit more modern looking, gave it a quick base coat and made a trigger.

Shotgun finished, painted with urban tiger camo and shoulder straps fitted, he was well chuffed.
