Kev, did you do a write up with pics from your last trip?
Do you have any links from similar trips?
Looks like Africa may be on for me this year
Hi mate....yeah did a part write up next door with a link to pics. More of a story than useful facts though. Where in Africa you thinking of?? The overland forum is very good for keeping an eye on things abroad. Upto date info on changing situations in various places..I will stick the link up. Alot of time it's down to problem areas than problem countries. I wish vince had not put up that info about the jap import site..been looking at landcrusier 70's!
Happy to help with any questions as well..... Great to see you are thinking of a trip. As you know our next trip is on hold till next summer or the following spring. We are saving cash with this job we are at, so it's all good and worth the wait. This way we can be away for two years instead of one.
You better make sure your back by the time we get to Serbia.....
Thanks for that,
It's only a short trip, a bunch of people here are going in September.
Only Northern Africa, Atlas mountains etc.
My wife's pickup is ready to go, so I thought why not.

I've been over most of the atlas mountains...got to be one of my favourite places. No aggro with everyone friendly. I can suggest some routes and places to stay if you like. The overland book by Chris ( errrr forgot his last name, will dig it out) has superb off road routes with gps waypoints and full details.
There is some pics of our last trip there on next doors site. You will love it there..
Chris Scott, Sahara overland is the book. Get yourself down to the desert at mohammid just south of Zagora. That's where the pics of the swimming pool are taken... You will be mobbed driving in, but head for the place we stayed at. Next day drive off road to the big sand dunes.. someone will offer to take you there for a few dirham..
