Be good to have another trip out. Maybe Aaron will spot this and post something.

                      What ever you do, don't buy a 2.7 petrol/auto!
They are totally useless offroad manly due to the petrol engine, there's no dual mass flywheel to fall apart and they don't like water (apparently) and will break down leaving you stranded if you attemped to drive through even the most innocent looking puddles.
Don't believe the claims that they're more economical to run either and that they are very quiet inside when driving.
Other things they are rubbish at is making clattery engine noises, wearing out fuel pumps, belching dirty smoke, and making your hands stink when you fill the tank.
I would never even consider buying one and I'm amazed that Toyota made the bluddie things!

Rather than cheeky (but funny) little prods about the petrol versions...can someone give bit of background on this?

I want diesel so I have the option of Veggie or Bio.

I want manual because I like stick shift. I've owned an Auto and it was dull (not a Surf).

However...I'm all ears and can be persuaded otherwise 'More economical and reliable' isn't something to be sniffed at
