      Replaced the bronze bushes yesterday and it seems to have sorted it.

      Burst a brake pipe in the process though.

        a 54mm thin wall socket 1/2 inch drive, lets you use torque setting.

          Lost me there mate? I got the Roughtrax spanner, but thats not got anything to do with the burst pipe.

            The inner hub nut should be torqued to 47Nm, once this is done then the pre-load starting effort can be correctly measured and adjusted. Not having the bearings set up properly will result in premature failure.

            The box spanner from Roughtrax looks like it would need modified to accept a 1/2 inch torque bar.
            The link I provided is for a socket ready to use with a torque bar.
