So after spending the majority of last weekend changing the timing belt, idler gear, tensioner and spring along with a new front crank seal, and flushing the cooling system and changing all the seals on the injection pump, I finally finished filling the cooling system with lovely Toyota Red and burping the last of the air from the cooling system last night.
Test drive all satisfactory.
So you can imagine my concern when today, the good lady wife phones me and tells me that the truck has just died and it has the engine check light lit.
So, on my return home from work the poor Surf is abandoned on the kerb outside the house after being recovered from Wootton Bassett High Street.
So any ideas as to what has caused this unfortunate turn of events......
