Hi! Hope you're enjoying it. Its a remarkable vehicle. I've been a surfer for a couple of years now and I have the bug quite bad. They are all getting on and you're going to find the odd thing going wrong but the parts are easy to get and advice here is plentiful.
Things I know now that I wish I knew back then: NEVER ignore an over heating incident. Flush your coolant and check for leaks and keep it topped up. If the head has not been replaced already, then take the advice that I was given and start putting aside a few quid each month in the expectation that its going to go.
Also, a good idea to send the VIN to toyota and check that the steering recall has been done. It's free, at least. -
