    Hiya Tony.Mike can get these safari variants.Do you know if any of them will be ok for the 3rd gens
    I can get these two variants similar to the Safari.

      I have just ordered a snorkel for a 3rd gen from a 4x4 shop in South Africa. It's a cheaper copy of the Safari SS 143 HF, if I am not mistaken. Ive been told by the seller that it's mainly used for the 167 series hilux pickups with the 1KZ-TE, and that it fits the 3rd gen diesel. The wing in the pickup and the surf is slightly different, in the sense that the indentation that runs across the side of the car tends to dip downwards as it nears the headlamp, in the pickup. In the 3rd gen the indentation runs almost straight, to the top of the headlamp. However the positioning of the airbox in the engine bay is the same and I am assured it also fits the 3rd gen just fine.

      Id send you a cple of pics I have got of the two slightly different wings, but am hopeless at this Photobucket thing (aka, I am computer illiterate).

              Its the Safari 167 series, left hand side for diesels, like you posted at top.

              I use SS143HF or SS145HF for Derv 3rd Gens.
