Do any of you remember the fizzy pop man? If you returned the bottle to him when he delivered again, you used to get a shilling back. When we was kids we used to knock all the doors in our neighbourhood for the bottles, when we had a enough money, we would get 10 Embassy no6 and a box of matches for 10 bob.

Do you remember Cresta. mmmmmmmmm. It was a fizzy drink in loads of flavours. They tried to revive it a couple of years ago but it was no-where near as smooth. It was Frothy Maaaaaaaaaan!

and Bazooka Joes Bubblegum with the cartoons inside the wrapper. Mostly American humour.

Oh yes...........Caramac.

For anyone in or near exeter, there is a fantastic sweet shop on Cowick street, opposite KFC......

Went in there with the other half and spent over a tenner on stuff.....keep seeing things you haven't seen in years.....and the chocolate covered turkish delight is to die for!

that was CORONA SOFT DRINKS worked in a factory for them donkey years ago.used to deliver to your house.

What about Marathons called Snickers now

they don't do chocolate fags anymore!.... maybe to stop kids smoking!... don't have tha penny sweet counter either used to really !!!! off the bloke by pointing at stuff and going "nah, not that one!"
had different stuff in scotland to down here... like "soor plumes".... once bought 50 licorice laces just to !!!! off the bird and ate them all and puked!
