  • Removal of radio/fascia trim.

Hi, another stupid question! Does the black trim panel round the radio/heater controls come off easily?
Reason I ask is a previous owner of my Surf has fitted a Sony unit and I can't get the little extractor doohickey blades in without them bending outwards and not releasing the clips.
I need to get the unit out as it keeps switching off and on by itself.
The little oddment box below it doesn't seem to easily detach either.
Any suggestions before I put my adjustable hammer to work?

    Ta!

        Yes it comes out easy.

Just remove glovebox (10mm nut + 4 screws I think) and then remove the dash panel under steering wheel (10mm nut and about 4 screws too)

Then gently prise out the heater panel trim and possibly a couple more screws and you're there.
