  • mud tyres

i have been trawling the internet and various forums for months trying to decide on some new tyres, but i am completely lost and cant seem to decide what to go for.
my truck has 7" of lift so im either after 35s or 33s and i really dont care about road manners, i just want something that will get me through the mud but it seems there is not much to choose from in the uk.
all i can find is the malatesta kaiman type tread pattern (insa turbo special track)
i did find some fedima trial ade but they have now gone, really liked the look of them but cant find any others in the uk.
what do you guys use for serious off roading when road driving is not important?
    thanks in advance

Insa special tracks have worked well for me in the past, however they are poor performers on tarmac. Worth a look as you say road manners is not a concern.

There's a set of 5 34" Simex jungle Trekkers On rims over on the hilux pickup site for £495 but be quick as at that price they won't hang around long. I have his number but don't want to put it up on here and can't pm for some reason.

Thanks for that. Its a great price. I'm not looking for a tread that's quite so aggressive though. Normal M/T treads in that size would probably be my ideal combo.

I have some 33x13.5" Pitbull Rockers that I use for proper offroading, also have some 35x16" Boggers, but they are pretty horrible on the road I rarely bother with them.

But neither are cheap or easy to find, so probably not what you're after, but their offroad ability is amazing.
