Question about surf members club[s]

Hi all, just an update reminder on if anyone knows of, or indeed is a member of a toyota surf owners club in england, south prefered, but if i have to travel then almost anywhere in the uk

also, does the 3L have the block problems with warping? or is it more the 2.4?

There are no block problems, you're thinking of cracked heads, the 2.4 will crack the head if the sun comes out, the the 3.0 is a lot better and can withstand 'normal' overheating issues much better, but not immune.

Its reasonably easy to test for, and also head issues will show up on any long-ish motorway journey as it runs out of coolant at a steady rate through the expansion tank.
