Hi an old guy ran in to the back of my surf on wed night when i was stationary at traffic lights
put me in hospitol for 2 days
to make it worse he was driving a land rover defender 90
the rear tailgate, window and wheel of my second gen knackerd although i think the spare wheel carrier helped in impact.
i just hope they dont write it off although im sure they will.
its had new head rad springs and shocks
has anyone any advice on buying it back from insurers if they let me.

They will write it off, just ask to buy the salvage when they do. They will probably offer you the option when they make their offers.

I had this with an escort when they said about writing it off I told them I would do it myself if they sent a cheque. Got £800 and only cost half that to repair.
