It does fluctuate it rises ever so slightly when going up steep hills and then goes back to centre once back on the flat

The Search function is a useful tool for most subjects.

Yes, I use the search function all the time but thanks for the wee reminder. Obviously the keywords I put into the box were not correct.

              Cheers

It was when we first got it and I was seeing how well it could accelerate up some of the hills round here. No load

Haven't driven it much since as the wife drives it most of the time.
She says it does really move from centre when she's driving, so it may be just when I'm behind the wheel.

Just to say, if you order from Milner its a very good service. Ordered cam belt kit and servicing stuff etc on Monday and everything arrived today Wednesday, excellent. Need to service the Surf before trip to then Czech Republic over the New Year. Happy Christmas to every Surf owner/driver on here

I'm not trying to be the prophet of doom but the only time the temp gauge moved above normal under no load conditions was when the head had gone ...

I'd strongly suggest that you get the coolant tested for exhaust gases while you still have some chance of getting a refund from the dealer

Would it not be a harbinger of doom?
How many days left to that most special time of the year?

Nah - prophet's the right word, a harbinger's more like an omen !

And as for that special time of year, I'm going to presume you mean Cuba, in which case it's 15 days

Let's all hope that the Mayan's got it all wrong and we don't get incinerated by Planet X or whatever else has been predicted so we can all celebrate many more festive holiday periods, including all the bah humbugs and Scrooges wherever they may be (Cuba included)

No refunds, it was sold as seen.

I really really hope the head hasn't gone

Cause that would be me up a creek without a paddle and no money to buy a new one

Well fingers crossed, if the head has gone that kseal will fix it, cause the bloke from Kallimex said it would.

I also order my steering bits from Milner and it was fairly quick delivery and they look like the right bits as well ( if you've ever used paddocks you'll understand the relief)
