I'll want at the equivalent of eighteen months worth of Surf road rent for it

That's very nice. Unfortunately for me the difficulty would lie in getting it from Wales to Ireland!

How much is 18 months of UK road tax? Over here it would be €2,323 for private or €517 as commercial.
