But no point not preparing old paint, you could try some of that Mer stuff they always sold it on the basis that old faded paint can look new and shiney just by polishing with Mer, but after seeing how much dirt is trapped in the paint and removed by claying, I think I'll just get me boy to work his magic.
For the record I'm not a polisher of any of my cars, the wife's mini was last washed in the summer sometime, my fiesta I did start doing a proper job on it in the summer but only got as far as the roof and the surf was last washed about 2 years ago!

I've still got three buried Surfs outside!
Looks like you got a proper covering, best to just go sledging with the wee fella and leave the roads to the nutters pal.Brian

I've always thought when you get a good shine up on black paint it looks like glass. Quality.
That list of products would set you back a pound or two to replenish. Vince recommended this stuff a while back from Valeters Pride and I swear by it now myself. It's easy on, easy off. One application after a wash and 8 quid a litre!!!
Brings the truck up a treat.
PS: Ignore the rear chrome. That's now in the skip.
Also, loving that tool board!

Sorry Yoshie, Audi looks mint BTW
Tyres are 285/65 R18.
Can't remember what the offset is but I know it's stamped on the back of the rims. I'll have a gander as soon as the slush is gone.
Tyres sit perfectly flush with the outer edge of the wheel arches without the spacers on. The spacers are Roughtrax 30mm jobbies.
