I loved driving on rocks, just don't have many options here in the UK.
It took me well over a year to get enthusiastic enough go offroading here in the UK again after driving on the Rubicon a few years ago, it was so much interesting and fun than just ragging it through muddy puddles.

Stannage Edge would be your cup of tea then.. 18" rocks in places, big drop 6" to your right... as in BIG drop.

Granite, I went to the rock yard this morning and the guy quoted me about a tenner a ton.
I just wondered because I'll probably work out the wall I'm building in cubic metres.
I was fortunate enough to get an invite along to a driving session on private land about 4 years ago. There was only 4 of us and it was completely untouched with us having to use a spotter as we picked our way across the hill. There was a long section of rock which took you through a real boggy patch and it was like island hopping as we worked our way across it. Might sound daft and it was no where as extreme as the video but I really enjoyed that part of the day as it was different from the usual mud plugging.
I enjoy watching the Moab and Rubicon trail videos on you tube.

Sandstone: 2.2 x 1000 kg/m3 = 2200 kg/m3
Basalt: 2.65 x 1000 kg/m3 = 2650 kg/m3
Marble: 2.7 x 1000 kg/m3 = 2700 kg/m3
Limestone: 2.45 x 1000 kg/m3 = 2450 kg/m3

Gold: 14 x 1000 kg/m3 = 14,000 kg/m3
Take off at least 25% for air space I reckon...
So approx 2T max.
