Yeehaw, the bloke I the hi viz manning the barriers ealier on diverting vehicles has gone home, so up the bank & over the Moor like a battleship over the Atlantic, waves breaking over the bow. Brilliant!! Wouldn't want to do it with less ground clearance though!

Watch you don't get caught, cops are clamping down heavily on 'arrogant 4X4 drivers' who drive through flood waters without due care. -
All done following a risk assessment & exercising due care - I wouldn't have done it if there was a risk of having to abandon ship & walk the last mile home through icy water. It also saved, IMHO, an unecessary 6 mile diversion.Comment
