Starter motors 2.4 v 3.0 are they the same...

I think I have a 2.4 one somewhere, can't see it for all the other crap, if it can be used on the 3.0 I'll keep digging, otherwise I'll consider it awol.

The kits are 54 quid!! Plus gas or delivery. I can get it refurb'd local for less. Shame, a strait swap would have been free.

For a starter refurb the only bits you REALLY need are the contacts, I did mine not so long ago using the 54 pound kit, but theres an awful lot of bits with that which you can do without.

That was my thought too. Didn't think about ebay, thanks.

Mind you stuff from Toyota themselves has been cheap enough, might speak to my local dealer.
