what's the best way to remove decals?

Need ideas, mines crap, all old, crusty and bits missing. I tried with a hairdryer but it leaves all the glue behind. It will only come off in small pieces as its all cracked.

Any of you done this and have any tips I could use?

I used spray carb cleaner and some rags and plenty of elbow grease.
Or a caramel ? Wheel in a drill

Caramel wheel, loads on eBay and they work perfectly.

Is the wheel just for the glue or the decal aswell

The one in the video doesn't create as much heat as the smooth versions.
