Unfortunately I was too busy slobbering to get the camera out. Needless to say when I get around to doing mine in a similar way I'll post some fore and aft's.
I couldn't believe two identical engines could sound so different. No. 5's deffo got that muscle car rumble going on. Made mine sound like a proper ricer.

What's the recomended daimeter for a dual exhaust system for the Lexurfs? My Garage can order up to 4.5"!!! I'm assuming a 2.5" would be adequate, but then again, a little extra wouldn't hurt would it? Do the 1UZFE's need back pressure?

It's a high revving multi-valve engine, so no bigger than 2.25" for the exhaust. Standard LS400 exhaust is only 2" at the downpipes into a 'Y' into a single 2.5" centre box then steps down into a 2" 'Y' again for the other silencers/tailpipes.
The best performing exhaust I made was for Lexurf III, that had 2.25" all the way from the headers to two small chambered 'silencers' at the back. It was 'kin loud though, but very torquey.
2.25" is also harder to get hold of, so thats why I use 2" now.
Cheers Vice, so 2.25" it is then.
X pipe and some glass packed mufflers needed then... time to start saving up.
I can recomend these chaps. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pipe-Werx-P...ance-Exhausts/. I've now got a 3" ss system using bends, a silecer, and all the stuff I needed, with flared ends if I required them. I had to source my flexi section elseware, but that was cause I wanted it longer than standard. They are very helpful, and my home designed system sounds fantastic! As you can see, they carry all you need in 2.25".
