Hi everyone. After nearly 3 years of ownership my L200 let me down and blew the engine so i went on friday evening and bought myself a 1994 Surf 3.0td auto ssrg. Really pleased with it so far 90k genuine miles with reciepts to prove. quite a bit of service history (even have the new vehicle delivery sheet from japan lol). Only has a few small problems that i have found. The exhaust centre is in bad shape and would need replaced soon, the rear suspension is a bit saggy and the display on the radio is damaged but im guessing this is probablly going to be impossible to fix. Also has anybody got a towbar from towequip and know what the quality is like?

Brendan,how do and welcome.The problem you have with the radio,what type of radio is it,if its the clarion double din type(lots of lights and a built in grafic thingy whatsit) you may be in luck,let me know,Alan

Yeah al its the double din unit with all the buttons and lights lol. It has the cd player and cassette player. The screen is to the left of the unit. Thanks for the welcome. One other thing that is high on the list of to dos is this towbar. Anyone know anything about towequip or could point me in the direction of a good suplier.

well it's very good in my opinion, strong and saves my bumper.

Hi everyone and thanks for the replies. Thanks blacksheep i tried roughtrax and they are £140.Towequip is only £90 would just depend on the quality of the part. Hi wolfracer would you mind emailing me you postcode so i can get a quote for courier but its normally mental price to get stuff sent to ni . Whenever i was getting a roolbar for my L200 i was quoted £240. It ended up i was able to get it posted to the south of ireland for £20 then went and lifted it from there lol. Ill have a look at my options and see. Muddle that definitely sounds promising

Brendan,how do.The unit I have is the Clarion double din that came with the truck.Not a mark on it,works well but I dont have a manual to go with it.I worked the controls out by trial and error.Its a really good unit but the background colour just didnt suit my vehicle.You can have it FOC if you can use it,but you pay the postage.Its a bit like the wife,its just gathering dust up there on the shelf.If you want it,let me know and we can sort something out,Alan
