Reassuring, anyway, yes, correct. It seems a good enough car, and I will be on the inside so I won't be looking at the hideous exterior.
Firing up a 3 litre diesel for short runs was getting expensive, (wjfe has a 3 litre pickup as well)
So this is the house 'pool car', I'll see how it goes.

Mainly for the MPG.

I gave over 2 grand for it!!!!!!

Not many better options over here. I still have the Surf, the pickup. the Wrangler and an old C250 merc. So I don't have to drive it all the time.

I can't comment as it was on my short list. I did however end up with a Mondeo estate in the end, it wasn't the looks that put me off, but the width.

I really think I may have to clear out the garage so I can hide it at night.

I haven't got it yet, it's gone off to be registered so I haven't really driven it.

As long as it gives me 45ish to the gallon, it'll do. room for the kids and dogs and my helicopters.

Are cars & insurance/tax cheaper than fuel out there? I'd love to run a few more vehicles, but insuring and taxing wouldn't make it worthwhile in the UK... afaik.
