I probably works really well, so not just there for show then.

It is pig ugly though, Safari and TJM snorkels look so much better, even some of the homemade ones do too.

Airflow dosn't look fantastic either if you ask me, a big extra bend in it where it comes off the top of the wing. You can barely see a Safari snorkel form the drivers seat, that one sits right on top of the wing.

The 3rd Gen one doesn't look anywhere near as bad...

Still has the comedy scoop on it though... which I guess is kind of the idea...
