For some reason, my guts are telling me to stay away but it's worth a look for anyone a little bolder than me;

I know. The human mind and the way it interprets things... It might be perfectly ok for all I know, but I've learned over the years to trust my guts.

My overwhelming feeling is it's cheap for a reason.

Must be worth buying to dismantle though I suppose?
