Paid out £4000 from insurance

Hi guys, wife had written my surf off just over a week ago & i have just been paid out for my 1999 model surf a sum of £4000.
Does that seem to be the right amount for my truck?

Not seen any 99 ones for sale for £4k i'd imagine you will struggle to find a replacement for the same value....I might be inexperienced and wrong though!

£4k isn't enough to buy a good, top notch 1999 Surf.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies, I paid just over £4000 for it 9 months ago and considering that I have got my money back BUT on the other hand if I'm right it was rare being a '99 model! I don't think I'll find another one like that but hey...all good things come to an end!

are you able to buy the surf back from the insurance, i can pay cash before the car comes
