Longest Firewire I have seen is 4m - that's from www.ebuyer.com - they are also good value for money.

www.dabs.com have got Belkin ones at 4m long. That seems to be around the longest you can get.Roger

I think the original standard was a max length of 4.5m
A US site claims secure use upto 10m - 20m for DV use only.
Don't suppose a long x-over cable would suffice - or are you ethernet-less ?Comment
