Okay,we're new to this Surf malarky,so be gentle,please!!

Why does our 2.8 diesel 1991 manual Surf have ' HILUX ' on the front grille,and not Toyota (like all the others we've seen) ?

There's no other badges on it apart from ' TOYOTA ' on the back above the number plate.It does still have the 'Surf' decals on the side.

It's a sort of metallic green too,does anyone know the 'proper' name for this (need to do a couple of retouches).

All we know is it's been in this country for 4 years,and she's running sweeeet!

Cannot answer why your SURF has Hilux on the front grill, have seen Hilux or Surf & both on Bull Bars but never Hilux on the grill that i recall ( but i am old

Are you also sure that you have a diesel 2.8 litre ???
2.4 & 3.0 litre is normal, LN 130 is the 2.4 & KZN 130 is the 3.0 litre.

It's registered as a 2777cc diesel on the documents,also it has LN131 on there.

Well its not a 2.4lte engine thats for sure

Saw something about these somewhere recently. I think its based on the 2.4 turbo engine but non turbocharged.
