  • Anyone know about bench polishers/linishers?

    AKA bench grinder
They start from £15 up to several hundred.
I want one to polish wax on flat wood, so prob an 8" wheel would be better.
Anyone got any first hand experience of these?

I just got a cheap £30 one from Aldi. Grinding stone on one end and belt sander on the other. The grinding stone could be swapped for a polishing wheel.

It's just a nice to have for me and probably won't see a great deal of use. If you are planning on running it regular or relying on it I would shop for a well know make second hand, likely to be £100+

That's the option I went for on the pillar drill instead of some new Sliverline or equivalent crap as I will use the drill every week.
