  • Greasy interior plastics

    Hi All,

Just bought a lovely new 3rd gen, and the interior plastics have been cleaned with something that feels really greasy.

Any tips on how to clean that shit off, and something better to use in future?

    Cheers

I had that crap on mine when i got it! I ended up using a little methylated spirit to wipe the plastics down, then i used (i'm gonna regret this) Tesco's own interior dash shine, it works well just spray it on let it stand for a few minutes then polish it, it doesn't leave the greasy feel and it last's around 2 months before needing doing again...
I'M ALWAYS IN THE SH'T, IT'S ONLY THE DEPTH THAT VARIES!!!!!!!!

An all purpose cleaner will do the job. Even detailers use it. I use Zymol on my dash as its apparently the best stuff. However it did pretty much naff all on the surf.

I use mr sheen multi purpose polish in my lorry, it removes everything easily and you can clean the glass with it.
