Yes the photo is too light. I STILL have to go back up there on Saturday, but they NOW tell me I can pay ANOTHER £11 and get it in my hand in less than 4 hours.
If not it will arrive on Thursday. We fly on Friday and thats just pushing it a little too far for my liking, so £11 it is then.
I started to last night, but I had a hovering security guard, and the clerks colleague giving him hand signals whilst looking at me. PLUS big signs saying if you get ejected from the premises, under no circumstance will you be allowed in EVER again!
Its taking the rise now. I went to PP office on Friday, rather than Saturday, because after peaking to them, I CANT get a new PP in 4 hours only a replacement. I'm now HAVE to go on Friday to collect it. THE DAY WE FLY OUT!!!!!!
So that'll be me then, leave the wife to finish packing and sorting kids out, I'll be getting the train to PP office, kicking some butt then getting train to Gatwick to meet family and inlaws.
Bugga
Total cost £380 plus reading matter and food, whilst on the trains
you will find out all about paperwork - waiting and expense then.
wot a !!!!!! nightmare i am having for a trip to florida this xmas.
if if wasnt for the kids they could poke the visa where the sun dont shine !!!!
Why do you want a Visa - can't you go under the Visa waiver scheme - should be OK if you are all UK passport holders - just fill out the green I-94 at the airport. Never had to get a US Visa before and I have travelled to the US probably at least 50 times in the past 6 years. The US INS is well known as being a bigger lover ov beaurocracy than the brits could have ever managed.

Mind you it is specific and says for a crime of Moral Turpitude or asserted immunity from prosecution. I don't even know what moral turpitude is let alone know whether I got done for it in the past.
Anyway good luck and have a great time in Florida when you get there.
