Am I right about the multimode on the petrol? bushwhacker told me you can usually tell by the 4x4 shifter being forward or back but I can never tell, he also said the little chassis with wheels icon is in between the rev counter and speedo indicates multimode....

Here's another for just £2500 in London which is an hour away for me, 115k miles, front wheels have been bathing in brake dust, but I recon if got my steamer on those they'd come up half decent. He's had it up for a week, stick £2k cash in his hand he might accept
In the meantime I'll have to think of ways to tempt Si down to the "Garden of England" I'll stick £3k cash in his back pocket, a big crate of his favourite beers and pop him on the train back home :p

Right, off out with my kids for a few hours...
Thanks

And yes, if there's a four wheeled icon between the dials, the truck has muli-mode.

I can never understand why someone would take pics of a vehicle for a sale ad without first cleaning it up. Have to confess Im a bit of a shiny in any case but when Im selling a vehicle it gets the full treatment for the pics and is kept hoovered shiny and clean until the buyer collects. Clean vehicles fetch more cash, but if youre not that fussed about the money , they also sell more quickly and what about a bit of personal pride ?Сви можемо

Well I think I'm going to have to cross the unwashed Surf in London off the list for the time being, my wife has agreed to drive up with me tomorrow, but 'popping' into London on the way is pushing it she thinks. I just need to get hold of my boss and confirm I can have Monday off then if my tour of Yorkshire takes longer than expected, which lets face it, is likely we'll find a BnB and come back on Monday, or even squeeze in any we've missed.
I wonder how serious Si is about selling his? It certainly looks to be the pick of the bunch, the Petrol one is at the bottom, mainly due to the lack of multimode 4x4. The other two are fairly similar give or take the mileage. So where's Si with some details eh? :P
In the mean time I'll see if I can find a few more pics of Si's as he's likely got some interior pics on here somewhere, just hoping its not got the awful wood trim inside...

Cheers BushWhacker, so it can be removed/replaced with something a bit less 'naff' then? I've potentially allowed for the need to remove it and replace it with just black.
Well I'm pretty sure I'm on my way up to Yorkshire tomorrow, that'll be a first, being a Southerner I expect the red carpets to come out :P
Just wish I could hear from Si, as I say his Surf is the potential winner...

Here's what it looks like, I pulled it off my other 2.7 (non multi-mode) and gave it the brushed aluminium look instead.

Si can you tell me a bit more about yours please? Miles, mot, tax, multimode 4x4, nasty wood trim, etc
My next problem is getting there, I'm down in sunny Kent, 4+ hours away, no problem to me, but the wife wants to stay overnight in b&b if we "go all that way" kids have got their annual swimming tournament Sunday morning until 10ish Aaaaaaaarrrrrrgghhh might look into trains :/
Thanks

Hi Si,
I just wanted you to confirm if you're serious about selling, so far only been able to get hold of one of the sellers who is over in Grimsby, as good as his sounds/looks a bit far to come for one car, hence if there's a few its worth the run and hopefully come back with the best of the bunch. I look forward to the list tonight.
Maybe you can give me details of a decent BnB in the area
Thanks again
