  • advice on camper vans...

Guys, the wife and I are seriously thinking about getting a camper van. Anyone here got any advice gleaned from personal experience?

Contemplating a T5 conversion, 4 berth. NOT contemplating a 'motorhome'...

Sadly, if we do this its bye bye surf..... :-(

(ooh.... pop top option for Surf????)

Now you have reached that certain age (belated birthday wishes )
A camper van may seem like a good idea I would suggest hire one of a similar spec before taking the plunge.
There was a T5 conversion on here a few weeks back but I don't know if that would fit your budget.

45 now.... ooh, my knees.... ooh my back.... ooh, my <insert body part> etc

Pop top on surf was a tongue in cheek moment - OH MY GOD! thats cool for a bit of fun. Now, 148million lottery win and i'd have one!

yeah, we are going to hire a t5 next month for a weekend. perhaps go to forest of dean.

          should be fun.

Can't go wrong with a T5 but you have to pay a premium for these.

Avoid Merc vans. Made in Spain from pre-rusted "Metal". Shocking.

Just be sure you buy some rv tire covers for sale to protect your camper when traveling into cold weather areas as tires can get damage from that, or when you are storing and parking them.
